Just as average as any BCB. Nothing super special here, nothing detracting. This is just standard chain "Tex Mex / Burrito" fare. We like it when we go. I guess that's all that counts, right?

Sloppy service; the girls seemed to busy chatting behind the counter to help customers. Also, the portion size of my actual meal, which was so soggy and messy, was about 1/4 of what I paid for. Not a good experience at all.

Food was great. Of course.... Its burritoes. Staff was horrible. High school aged girls, all with a resting B face. None of them welcomed us as we came in. First girl, a young, blonde girl greeted us with" what do you want?" That set the tone for the rest of the experience. I'd fire all of them and start hiring people who want a job.

Great burrito version of pick your own ingredients like a few sandwich chains. I Love the black beans. Everything was perfectly tempt so that the sour cream didn't melt but also didn't cool my burrito. That's a real tough thing to do. I loved all the selections and since my child has a tomato allergy it was wonderful to know the staff was willing to go out of the way to ensure she got a great burrito without issues.

Just had my first all-around great experience here after many visits. Apparently the regular manager, tall thin bearded guy who wears his cap backwards, is on vacation, (thankfully), and a regional manager is filling in. This guy is exactly what this location badly needs, an adult who is professional in customer service, friendly and personable. This was the first time I saw the dining area clean front to back, chairs straightened, and looked noticeably good. REALLY hope this regional manager stays here and re-trains or replaces backwards cap dude.

First time there today, food was good, but nothing exceptional. The teenagers working behind the counter were pretty apathetic and skimped on the ingredients. I had a pork burrito. The meat was a good texture and cooked well, but wasn't very flavorful. The hot salsa MADE the burrito as it was pretty bland without it. The ingredients WERE very fresh and the price wasn't too bad. I'd go here again but I don't think I'll be adding it to my list of favorite go-to's. Place was clean, well-lit and well decorated. It had kind of a modern/clean fisherman's pier decor. 3/5

i'm sooooo glad that another burrito place has opened in mt. juliet, that way, i don't ever have to go to salsaritas again, that place is awful. but, this place, these people, it's all just lovely. the girls that work here are super friendly, unlike the apathetic scalawags at salsaritas. blue coast is much more inexpensive as well, but worth more given the portion sizes and friendliness. i had a small burrito with spicy chicken, rice, black beans, jalapeanos, guacamole, and romaine lettuce (they'll use romaine lettuce on your burrito instead of iceberg if you ask). it was wonderful. the salsa bar is great too, blue coast actually has my favorite salsas (you should try the pineapple salsa!).

I took my wife here for a birthday lunch a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time for us both to sample what they had to offer actually in store. We were pleasantly surprised with the outcome. We both got the regular burrito with chicken ...I got the spicy....and made them both combos which comes with drinks and the salsa bar. My wife had their food once at her job and had told me about their fruit tea it was ok...too much orange for me... but that was the only complaint. If you leave hungry that's all on you. This will be a definite repeat lunch spot for us!

Very thankful to have a BCB here in providence. My wife and I love this chain and are always on the look out for good quality with fresh ingredients. Had the big chicken burrito today with rice, black beans, cheese, and guacamole . Always awesome and filling. Keep up the good work guys!

We paid $21 for two poor burritos, one lemonade, one water and some queso. The young lady behind the counter made my burrito into a ball but I can forgive that since she was obviously new and clearly did not understand that burritos are typically cylindrical. Unfortunately, nothing in our burritos - meat, beans, rice, etc. - was even remotely warm. There are few things less appetizing that an ice cold burrito. The fact that the staff was unwelcoming further exacerbated our poor experience.

I'm a huge fan of Mexican food.... I even haven't own restaurant downtown. I wanted to like Blue Coast because of their original branding and "Mexi-Cali-Surfer" theme they have going, but that's about all they had going. Avoid the taco salad at all costs! It's iceberg lettuce with cheap produce thrown on top of it. The burritos are ok, but nothing stands out to me at all about their food.... Other than the fact that it's not very good.... Sorry Blue Coast, maybe next time!

This is an average take out Mexican spot, in lines with a Moes, but Chipotle is hands down better. The service is ok, salsas are just alright and steak was a little over cooked/chewy to me. Its not bad, but its not great either.

Bleh! I literally Can't wait until Moe's Mexican restaurant finally gets built here and hopefully replaces this place! The employees here are always rude OR don't know what they're doing. I'm a very cheerful person, I smile and always ask anyone that is serving me how they are doing. Do that here and EVERY single time, you get a blank stare or a pissed off "fine, what do you want to order?. I get that it's a semi fast food place but still, it doesn't hurt to smile!! The menu is nothing to rave about, food could use some seasoning and the chips have almost always been burnt. With lack of customer service and food quality like this, I can't imagine BCB will stick around when more dining options start to fill up the Providence area.

Decent food for chain mexican... Good fruit tea... Service was good until we were handed over to "Justice" who had to be summoned from the back when the girl behind the line needed to assist the customers behind us. Justice barely acknowledged our presence except to ring our ticket up and then promptly returned behind the scenes with no so much as a thank you

I have been there 4 different times. The first time that I ate there, the food was really good and the "adult" staff were really personable. The manager encouraged me to try the pineapple salsa which won me over! Unfortunately, each time that I have been back, I am mildly disappointed. The staff seems to be made up of high school age kids that really need a lesson in customer service. The servings have gotten smaller and the food doesn't seem as fresh. I really hope that the owners turn things around before they lose the interest of their customers...

A Chipotle clone that's really good. Ingredients were tasty and fresh. Interior was fun, giving it a West Coast vibe. The steak burrito was good and felt lighter than Chipotle. I want to try the fish tacos next time. Give it a try, you'll like it!

It was ok at best. The chicken was cold and they scimped on everything. The coke was good. I would not recommend the burrito and I don't think I will go back to try anything else. The staff was not very friendly, but what do you expect from teenagers.

Went into BCB Saturday night around 7:45 PM. 2 people at the counter working. Both looked stoned off their rockers. Slower than molases. Now mind you only 2 other people were in line in front of me when I walked in and they were checking out....The one kids shorts were around his butt and the zipper was down. I could not understand a word he mumbled. He just kept looking at me like I had 3 heads after he put my chicken on the burrito. I was thinking wow I would really like some more toppings....basically it seemed like a task to ask him to work. I will leave it at that. The counters were a mess with food all over ( I realize it was the end of the day but keep it clean). By the time I made it through to the register and sat down my burrito and the chicken nachos were cold. The ice smelled like typical Mt. Juliet bio hazard water. Both teas were empty. Maybe it was just a bad night for them but I will not be going back. I will spend my money at Salsaritas.

And yet another restaurant opens in the Providence area at Mount Juliet. I don't fully understand what the draw is for these small, local chains here. Now, I'm not complaining (don't get me wrong) but I have to tell you that there are so many choices in this area that I don't understand how any business person can see the value in opening a property here. (ATTENTION small business owners - call me before you open a restaurant in Mt. Juliet!) Again I'm not complaining, to the contrary I'm glad that BCB has arrived. I've heard many people compliment the restaurant from visits around the city. Having grown up on the West Coast I'm quite familiar with this type of burrito. While I can't say that it's my favorite style I do like it when it's done right. And I would have to say that the folks at BCB have done it right. I didn't know that when I had arrived for dinner BCB was just open for its first day. As you know from some of my other reviews, I think it says a lot about a restaurant when they are overstaffed on their first day. This tells me that the management/ownership is serious about making a good first impression. I'm happy to say that they did a great job on my very first visit on their very first day of business. On a whim, I had the fish tacos Baja style. This is probably the last thing that I order on any menu anywhere but for some reason I felt compelled to try it out. It looked like BCB had done a great job with everything else so hey, lets go for it! Let me tell you that the fish tacos did not disappoint. I didn't mind the 10 min. wait for the fish to be prepared from scratch. As promised, the whitefish was very moist and tender, flavorful, with just a light crispiness on the outside. Three of these tacos for $6.99 was a treat. If BCB is known for their Baja style fish tacos I know exactly why. My two kids picked from the children's menu. This was perfect since my older son tends to order off of the adult menu - typically leaving half of his food which means that effectively I end up paying double for it. One chicken burrito, and a two-taco plate later my kids were enthusiastic about returning to the place. My younger kid ordered mushrooms on one of his tacos and was charged an extra $.49 which I thought was a little excessive for the four mushroom slices that were included. My other kid had guacamole on his burrito which set me back $.99 - this brought his meal up to five bucks for the burrito, chips, small drink, and access to the salsa bar. All of this food was served hot and fresh with great flavor combinations and the salsas were prepared from scratch and equally as impressive. Thank you, God of salsa for parting the red seas and bestowing upon BCB your salsa making wisdom. These salsas alone will keep me coming back. Let's go ahead and admit that BC is a Chipotle knockoff... yeah I said it. While BCB does a great job of combining flavors and serving quality meats with fresh ingredients they don't use the same quality as Chipotle - I'm really OK with this I just mention it because BCB charges Chipotle prices. Specifically, Chipotle uses naturally raised meats and I'm all for paying for quality but would have given BCB 6 stars if I'd paid 3 dollars less. if there's really only one thing I could change about BCB it would be that I would throw every corn tortilla from Mission Tortilla Company out into the street and buy a locally produced corn tortilla. This was probably the only thing that I didn't like, but considering everything else it was a minor flaw. The corn tortillas were not heated (to me that translates as raw) and had a shelf life of six months making them stiff, hard, and rubbery (don't go there...). Okay, one more thing that I kind of didn't like - For whatever reasons all of the tacos and burritos were very wet causing serious issues with the tortillas. Normally, being too wet is not an issue for me but I didn't like the fact that my tacos and the burrito became a salad before I was half done. Again, this is very minor because -Damn- they were pretty tasty. [keep it up guy who was being trained] I really hope that Blue Coast Burrito can stay in business at this location considering the multiple choices in the Providence area and its poor location. BCB does a great job at delivering a pretty authentic California burrito with some great salsas and guacamole to accompany the flavorful meats. The fruit tea is interesting, and the dessert choices (which I have yet to try) looked very appealing. Two kids meals, three fish tacos, in a regular sized tea set me back almost $19. That is a little bit pricey to make this a regular meal for me but I am looking forward to enjoying a good burrito on occasion in Mt. Juliet... FINALLY!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
